Comparison review

The Google Nexus 6 has an overall score of 81.1, which is slightly better than Galaxy S7 edge's 78.1 score. Even being the best cellphone in this comparison review, Google Nexus 6 is an older, heavier and much thicker cellphone than the Galaxy S7 edge. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 6 has the previous 5.1 version while Galaxy S7 edge has Android 8.0 Oreo.

The Google Nexus 6 has a little bit better screen than Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has a little inferior amount of pixels per inch of screen, and they both have an equal resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with a bit larger screen. Galaxy S7 edge features more storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Nexus 6, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that supports up to 200 GB.

The Google Nexus 6 has just a little better performance than Samsung Galaxy S7 edge, because although it has 1 GB lesser RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 6 also counts with an additional graphics co-processor. Galaxy S7 edge has a bit better battery duration than Google Nexus 6, because it has 3600mAh of battery capacity.

Galaxy S7 edge takes just a bit better photos and videos than Google Nexus 6, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a camera with a worse resolution, it also counts with a larger aperture.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy S7 edge, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Galaxy S7 edge. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can buy Galaxy S7 edge, and give up some specs and features, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
