Comparison review

Google Nexus 6 has a global score of 81.1, which is a bit better than the Xperia Z3's score of 77.3. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android OS (operating system), but Google Nexus 6 has a newer 5.1 version while Xperia Z3 has Android 4.4.4 version, so it offers some nice extra features and performance enhancements. Although it's the best we compare here, the Google Nexus 6 is an a bit heavier and somewhat thicker phone than Xperia Z3.

Xperia Z3 counts with a bit sharper display than Google Nexus 6, although it has a bit less pixels per screen inch, a much lower 1920 x 1080 resolution and a bit smaller display. The Sony Xperia Z3 has a bit bigger memory for games and applications than Google Nexus 6, because although it has just 32 GB internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 128 GB.

The Google Nexus 6 counts with a little better processing power than Sony Xperia Z3, and although they both have the same RAM memory amount and 4 cpu cores, the Google Nexus 6 also has a better 500 MHz graphics processor. Xperia Z3 features a slightly better camera than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition, a same size camera aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia Z3 also has a back camera with lot more MP.

Sony Xperia Z3's battery lifetime is just as good as Google Nexus 6's battery performance, although the Sony Xperia Z3 has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 3220mAh.

Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Sony Xperia Z3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Sony Xperia Z3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Google Nexus 6, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia Z3, letting go a couple specifications.
