Comparison review
The Google Pixel 4 XL has a global score of 82.9, which is slightly better than the Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 general score. Even though the Google Pixel 4 XL is way newer than the Google Pixel 2 XL, it is a little heavier and just a little thicker. The Google Pixel 4 XL counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Google Pixel 4 XL also has a larger amount of RAM.
Google Pixel 4 XL features a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a little bit worse pixel count in each inch in the screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 3040px and a quite bigger screen. The Google Pixel 2 XL features much more memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 4 XL, because it has more internal memory.
Google Pixel 4 XL has just a little better battery life than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity. Google Pixel 4 XL and Google Pixel 2 XL count with really similar cameras, and although the Google Pixel 4 XL has a larger sensor providing a higher image quality and a bigger camera aperture for better low light photography and video, they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video resolution and the same resolution back facing camera.
Although Google Pixel 4 XL is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Pixel 4 XL, else you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 2 XL, giving up a couple specifications.
