The Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a general score of 82.9, which is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 general score. Huawei Mate 20 Pro's body is newer, but a little thicker and just a bit heavier than the Google Pixel 2 XL. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has a little bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a greater pixel amount in each inch of screen, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels and a little bigger screen.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has 2 GB more RAM. The Google Pixel 2 XL and the Huawei Mate 20 Pro feature quite similar storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos, both of them have exactly the same internal storage capacity.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro features better battery duration than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 19 percent greater battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 Pro shoots better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same video frame rate and the same camera aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot higher 40 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a way bigger sensor which offers a much higher photo and video quality.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, giving up a couple specs and features.
