Google Pixel 2 XL is a bit better than Huawei Mate 8, with an 82.5 score against 77.4. Google Pixel 2 XL's construction has the same thickness than Huawei Mate 8, but it is a little bit lighter. Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a better screen than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a same size display, the Google Pixel 2 XL also has a better number of pixels per screen inch and a way better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a way bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Huawei Mate 8 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 128 GB. The Huawei Mate 8 has a processing unit that's just as good as the Google Pixel 2 XL one, they have 4 GB of RAM and 8 processing cores.
The Huawei Mate 8 counts with a bit better battery life than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery size. Google Pixel 2 XL has just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a back-facing camera with way less megapixels, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low-light captures and video and a lot higher video quality.
