Comparison review
The Google Pixel 2 XL has a score of 82.5, which is slightly better than Huawei Mate 9 Pro's 78.7 overall score. The Google Pixel 2 XL design is newer, but just a bit thicker and a bit heavier than the Huawei Mate 9 Pro. Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 9 Pro counts with a screen that is very similar to Google Pixel 2 XL's screen, although the Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a bit smaller screen, a just a little lower display density and a little bit lower resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels. The Google Pixel 2 XL takes a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Google Pixel 2 XL also has a larger aperture to take better photography and videos in low light situations, a bigger sensor and a back camera with a higher resolution.
The Huawei Mate 9 Pro's memory to store more apps and games is very similar to the Google Pixel 2 XL one, they have the same internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a little longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
Despite of being the best phone of the ones we are comparing, Google Pixel 2 XL is also a bargain compared to others, making this phone an obvious call.
