LG G8 ThinQ is a bit better than Google Pixel 2 XL, getting an 84.3 score against 82.5. Even though LG G8 ThinQ is just a little thicker than Google Pixel 2 XL, it's just a little lighter and newer. The LG G8 ThinQ features just a bit better looking screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a just a little higher display pixels density, a little bigger screen and a little higher resolution of 1440 x 3120px.

The LG G8 ThinQ features a superior storage to install games and applications than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a SD memory card expansion slot that supports up to 1,95 TB. LG G8 ThinQ counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory.

The LG G8 ThinQ counts with a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a lesser mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse (4K) video definition, and they both have a 0.38 inches back camera sensor, the LG G8 ThinQ also counts with a bigger aperture to take better images and videos in low light situations.

Google Pixel 2 XL features just a bit longer battery life than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 3520mAh of battery capacity.

Although LG G8 ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the LG G8 ThinQ, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, letting go a couple specs and features.
