The LG G8X ThinQ has a general score of 82.7, which is a bit better than Google Pixel 2 XL's global score of 82.5. LG G8X ThinQ's body is way newer than Google Pixel 2 XL's, but it's just a little heavier and just a little bit thicker. LG G8X ThinQ counts with just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the LG G8X ThinQ also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 2 XL has a slightly better display than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a higher amount of pixels per inch of display and a better resolution of 1440 x 2880. LG G8X ThinQ features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The LG G8X ThinQ has a little better battery performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 14 percent bigger battery capacity. LG G8X ThinQ takes a little bit better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a lower (4K) video definition and a back facing camera with a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution, and they both have a same size camera aperture, the LG G8X ThinQ also counts with a bigger sensor providing a higher image quality.
Although LG G8X ThinQ is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 2 XL, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
