Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has a score of 82.5, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 overall score. LG V30S ThinQ's construction is just a little bit lighter and a bit thinner than the Google Pixel 2 XL, even though they were released with only a few months difference. Google Pixel 2 XL and LG V30S ThinQ have similar displays, they have a display with the same size, exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and the same display pixels density.

The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the LG V30S ThinQ also has more RAM. LG V30S ThinQ has a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a smaller sensor which offers a worse image and video quality, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a larger aperture.

LG V30S ThinQ features a much better storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the LG V30S ThinQ also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. The Google Pixel 2 XL features a bit superior battery lifetime than LG V30S ThinQ, because it has 3520mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2 XL. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
