Comparison review
The LG Velvet has a general score of 87.1, which is slightly better than Google Pixel 2 XL's overall score of 82.5. LG Velvet is a just a little heavier cellphone than the Google Pixel 2 XL, but both of them have the same thickness. The LG Velvet features a little bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the LG Velvet also has more RAM memory.
The Google Pixel 2 XL features a bit sharper screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a higher pixel density and a better 1440 x 2880px resolution. LG Velvet features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG Velvet also has a slot for an external memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.
LG Velvet captures better photos and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a same size camera aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a back camera with way more megapixels and a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The LG Velvet features superior battery duration than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 4300mAh of battery capacity.
Although LG Velvet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2 XL. If you want to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your money.
