Motorola One 5G is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 2 XL, having an 84.6 score against 82.5. Motorola One 5G is a newer cellphone than Google Pixel 2 XL, but it's thicker and heavier. The Google Pixel 2 XL counts with a bit more vivid screen than Motorola One 5G, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880px and a higher screen pixels density.
Motorola One 5G counts with a much greater storage capacity to store more games and applications than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Motorola One 5G also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Motorola One 5G's CPU is very similar to the Google Pixel 2 XL one, they have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount.
Motorola One 5G has a much longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity. Motorola One 5G shoots much clearer photographs and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Motorola One 5G also has a larger aperture, a way more MP back-facing camera and a way larger back camera sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
Although Motorola One 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Motorola One 5G, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 2 XL, giving up a couple specs and features.
