Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A42 has a general score of 87, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 overall score. Even though Samsung Galaxy A42 is a lot newer than the Google Pixel 2 XL, it's just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier. Google Pixel 2 XL features a much sharper display than Galaxy A42, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better 1440 x 2880 resolution and a lot more pixels per inch of screen.
The Samsung Galaxy A42 features a much bigger storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a SD extension slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB. The Google Pixel 2 XL has a little bit better processing power than Galaxy A42. Both have 8 cores and the same RAM amount.
The Galaxy A42 has a really longer battery performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. Samsung Galaxy A42 has a better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have the same video frame rate, the same (4K) video resolution and the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A42 also has a lot better resolution camera in the back.
