Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A51 is slightly better than the Google Pixel 2 XL, having a overall score of 85.5 against 82.5. Samsung Galaxy A51 is a just a bit lighter cellphone than Google Pixel 2 XL, but they are equally thin. Google Pixel 2 XL has a little more vivid display than Galaxy A51, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better 1440 x 2880 pixels resolution and a better count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a processing unit that is very similar to the Google Pixel 2 XL one, they have 8 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. Galaxy A51 has a very superior memory to install games and applications than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory, the Galaxy A51 also has a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 512 GB.
The Galaxy A51 takes much better photos and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not favorable for taking photos or videos in low-light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a way more mega pixels camera and a way bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Galaxy A51 features just a bit longer battery performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3520mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy A51 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Google Pixel 2 XL, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
