Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy Fold is much better than the Google Pixel 2 XL, with a global score of 97.6 against 82.5. Samsung Galaxy Fold's construction is newer and somewhat thinner than Google Pixel 2 XL's, although it is also extremely heavier. Google Pixel 2 XL has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Fold, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a slightly better resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a better quantity of pixels per screen inch.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold has a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Fold also has 8 GB more RAM. Samsung Galaxy Fold has much more memory capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has more internal storage.
The Galaxy Fold has just a bit better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a lower video resolution and a camera with a lower 12 mega pixels resolution, it also counts with a larger camera sensor which gives a higher image and video quality and a larger aperture to capture better low light photography and videos.
Samsung Galaxy Fold counts with superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 4380mAh of battery capacity instead of 3520mAh.
Although Galaxy Fold is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Galaxy Fold, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, giving up a couple specs and features.
