Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has an overall score of 83, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 general score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, it must be noted that it is also a just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone. Galaxy Note8 counts with a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy Note8 also has 2 GB more RAM.

Galaxy Note8 features a screen that's very similar to the Google Pixel 2 XL one, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a little lower number of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a bit larger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1440 x 2960. Galaxy Note8 features a camera that is very similar to Google Pixel 2 XL's camera, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a lower 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a back facing camera with a lower 12 MP resolution, it also counts with a larger sensor taking better quality videos and photos and a bigger camera aperture to capture better low-light photos.

The Galaxy Note8 counts with just a bit more memory to install applications and games than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD card slot that supports up to 256 GB. Google Pixel 2 XL has just a bit longer battery performance than Galaxy Note8, because it has a 7% more battery size.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Galaxy Note8, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Google Pixel 2 XL, giving up some features and specifications.
