Comparison review
The Galaxy S22 Ultra is much better than Google Pixel 2 XL, getting a 95.4 score against 82.5. Although the Galaxy S22 Ultra is incredibly newer than the Google Pixel 2 XL, it's extremely heavier and somewhat thicker. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has a much better screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a just a bit lower display pixels density, it also counts with a quite better 1440 x 3088 pixels resolution and a little bit larger screen.
The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have 8 processing cores, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also has 4 GB more RAM. The Galaxy S22 Ultra has as much storage to store more games and applications as Google Pixel 2 XL, they have the same internal storage capacity.
Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a much better battery duration than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 5000mAh battery size instead of 3520mAh. The Galaxy S22 Ultra counts with a way better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a same size aperture, the Galaxy S22 Ultra also has a much higher 108 megapixels resolution camera in the back, a lot higher video resolution and a lot larger sensor which gives a way higher photo and video quality.
Although Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 2 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 2 XL. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 2 XL, resigning some features and specifications.
