The Google Pixel 2 XL has an overall score of 82.5, which is a little bit better than Samsung Galaxy S7's 79.5 overall score. The Google Pixel 2 XL construction has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy S7, but it is heavier. The Google Pixel 2 XL features just a little better hardware performance than Galaxy S7, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Google Pixel 2 XL also has a larger number of cores (and also faster).
The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a brighter screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a little bit smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels, it also counts with a little bit higher pixels number per inch of display. The Galaxy S7's camera is just as good as Google Pixel 2 XL's camera, because although the Galaxy S7 has a lower 3840x2160 video quality and a lesser MP back-facing camera, it also counts with a bigger back camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a larger camera aperture to take better photos and videos in low-light situations.
The Google Pixel 2 XL has a quite bigger storage to install applications and games than Galaxy S7, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory. Google Pixel 2 XL has longer battery duration than Galaxy S7, because it has a 3520mAh battery size.
The Google Pixel 2 XL costs more money than the Samsung Galaxy S7, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
