The Sony Xperia 1 III has a general score of 93.3, which is much better than the Google Pixel 2 XL's 82.5 score. The Sony Xperia 1 III is a much newer cellphone than the Google Pixel 2 XL, but it is just a little bit heavier and a bit thicker. The Sony Xperia 1 III has just a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 2 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia 1 III also has a greater amount of RAM.

The Sony Xperia 1 III features a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a little bit bigger screen, a just a little more pixels per inch in the display and a better resolution of 1644 x 3840. The Xperia 1 III counts with a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has 256 GB internal storage capacity and a slot for an external memory card that allows up to 1 TB.

Xperia 1 III features improved battery duration than Google Pixel 2 XL, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a better camera than Google Pixel 2 XL, because although it has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a less MP camera, it also counts with a larger aperture and a much larger sensor taking much better quality pictures and videos.
