Comparison review
The Google Pixel 3 XL has a global score of 80.7, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL's general score of 78.9. The Google Pixel 3 XL design is just a little thinner but a bit heavier than Google Pixel 3a XL, and both of them were released only a couple months apart. Google Pixel 3 XL has just a bit better performance than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.
Google Pixel 3 XL counts with a slightly better looking screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 2960px, more pixels per display inch and a bit bigger screen. Google Pixel 3a XL and Google Pixel 3 XL count with similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, both of them have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity.
The Google Pixel 3a XL's camera is very similar to Google Pixel 3 XL's camera, both have a same size sensor, a 12.2 MP resolution back camera, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the same video frame rates and the same aperture. The Google Pixel 3a XL features just a bit longer battery life than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity instead of 3430mAh.
Although Google Pixel 3 XL is a better device, it costs more money than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you want to save some dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3a XL, and give up some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
