Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL, getting an 82.9 score against 80.7. Huawei Mate 20 Pro is an a bit heavier and just a bit thicker phone than the Google Pixel 3 XL. Huawei Mate 20 Pro has just a bit better screen than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has a little greater pixel amount in each inch of screen, a quite larger screen and a quite better resolution of 1440 x 3120 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has more internal storage capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a bit better CPU than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has more RAM memory.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro counts with improved battery life than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 4200mAh of battery capacity. Huawei Mate 20 Pro features a better camera than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have a same size aperture, the same (4K) video definition and the same video frame rates, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro also has a lot bigger sensor capturing much higher quality photographs and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Although Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3 XL. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Huawei Mate 20 Pro, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3 XL, giving up a couple features and specs.
