Comparison review

The Galaxy Note8 has a score of 83, which is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3 XL's 80.7 overall score. Even being the best in this review, Galaxy Note8 is an older, a little bit thicker and just a little bit heavier cellphone than the Google Pixel 3 XL. Google Pixel 3 XL and Galaxy Note8 have similar displays, they have a display with the same size, exactly the same resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels and the same display pixels density.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 and Google Pixel 3 XL feature extremely similar processing units, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has more RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy Note8 features a camera that is just as good as Google Pixel 3 XL's camera, because although the Galaxy Note8 has a lower 3840x2160 video resolution and a camera with less megapixels, and they both have the same back-facing camera sensor size, it also counts with a bigger aperture to take better low-light images.

Galaxy Note8 features a much better storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Note8 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The Google Pixel 3 XL features a bit superior battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note8, because it has 3430mAh of battery capacity instead of 3300mAh.

Although Galaxy Note8 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3 XL. If you are trying to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 3 XL, letting go a couple features, but you will get the most out of your budget.
