Samsung Galaxy S8 has a global score of 81.7, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL's global score of 80.7. Samsung Galaxy S8's design has the same thickness than Google Pixel 3 XL, but it's somewhat lighter. The Samsung Galaxy S8 features a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a little smaller display, and they both have an equal resolution of 1440 x 2960px, the Samsung Galaxy S8 also counts with a little bit more pixels per display inch.
The Google Pixel 3 XL counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S8. Both have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Google Pixel 3 XL count with really similar cameras, because although the Samsung Galaxy S8 has a back-facing camera with a lower resolution and a lower 3840x2160 video definition, and they both have a 0.39 inches back camera sensor, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better photography in poorly lited situations.
