The Xperia XZ2 Premium is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3 XL, getting an 82.2 score against 80.7. Despite being the best cellphone in our current comparison, Xperia XZ2 Premium is an a lot heavier and notably thicker cellphone than Google Pixel 3 XL. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a brighter display than Google Pixel 3 XL, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better quantity of pixels per screen inch and a better resolution of 2160 x 3840.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 400 GB. The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a little bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium shoots slightly better photos and videos than Google Pixel 3 XL, and although they both have the same aperture, the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor and a way more mega-pixels back facing camera.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with a bit superior battery duration than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has 3540mAh of battery capacity against 3430mAh.
Although Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3 XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3 XL. If you are trying to save a few dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3 XL, letting go a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your money.
