IPhone 12 Pro Max is much better than Google Pixel 3, with a overall score of 93.2 against 80. IPhone 12 Pro Max's design is extremely newer and a bit thinner, but also much heavier than the Google Pixel 3. Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a better performing CPU than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a lower number of cores (although they are faster), it also counts with a larger amount of RAM and a 64 bits processor.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max counts with a much better looking screen than Google Pixel 3, because it has a better resolution of 1284 x 2778px, a bigger display and a little greater amount of pixels per inch in the screen. IPhone 12 Pro Max features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a lower (4K) video definition and a lower resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better captures in low-light situations.
Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max has a much greater storage capacity to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. IPhone 12 Pro Max counts with superior battery duration than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 3687mAh battery capacity against 2915mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3, giving up some specifications.
