Comparison review
LG Velvet is slightly better than Google Pixel 3, getting an 87.1 score against 80. LG Velvet is a somewhat heavier cellphone than the Google Pixel 3, but they have the same thickness. The Google Pixel 3 counts with just a bit better screen than LG Velvet, because although it has a bit smaller display and a bit worse 1080 x 2160 resolution, it also counts with a little greater screen density.
The LG Velvet features a processing unit that is just as good as the Google Pixel 3 one, and although the LG Velvet has 2 GB more RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processor. LG Velvet counts with a much better memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has an external SD slot that admits up to 1,95 TB and 128 GB internal storage capacity.
LG Velvet takes much clearer pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same aperture and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the LG Velvet also has a lot larger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and pictures and a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels.
The LG Velvet counts with a much longer battery life than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 48% bigger battery size.
Although LG Velvet is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 3, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
