Xperia 1 III is better than Google Pixel 3, getting a overall score of 93.3 against 80. The Xperia 1 III construction is much newer, but incredibly heavier and just a little bit thicker than the Google Pixel 3. Xperia 1 III has just a little better processing power than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia 1 III also has more RAM memory.
The Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a better display than Google Pixel 3, because it has a greater pixels density, a larger screen and a way higher 1644 x 3840 resolution. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Google Pixel 3, because it has 192 GB more internal memory and an external memory slot that allows up to 1 TB.
The Xperia 1 III features a very superior battery performance than Google Pixel 3, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2915mAh. The Sony Xperia 1 III features a superior camera than Google Pixel 3, because although it has a lower 12 mega-pixels resolution back-facing camera and a worse (4K) video quality, it also counts with a bigger diafragm aperture and a way larger back-facing camera sensor.
Although Xperia 1 III is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Xperia 1 III, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3, letting go a couple features and specs.
