Comparison review
The Xperia XZ2 Premium is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3, getting an 82.2 score against 80. Even being the best in this review, it must be noted that it is also extremely thicker and notably heavier. Xperia XZ2 Premium features a lot better looking display than Google Pixel 3, because it has a way greater display pixel density, a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a little bit larger display.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium features a much better memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 400 GB. Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium has just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have 8 cores, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has more RAM.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium counts with improved battery performance than Google Pixel 3, because it has a 3540mAh battery capacity against 2915mAh. The Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features a slightly better camera than Google Pixel 3, and although they both have a F1.8 diafragm aperture, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rate, the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium also has a larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a camera with lot more MP.
Although Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3, resigning some specs and features.
