Comparison review
IPhone 8 Plus is better than Google Pixel 3a XL, with an 87.1 score against 78.9. Although iPhone 8 Plus is older and heavier than the Google Pixel 3a XL, it's design is still just a bit thinner. The iPhone 8 Plus has just a bit better looking display than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it has a bit smaller display, a quite worse pixels number per display inch and a little bit worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px.
Apple iPhone 8 Plus features a very superior memory capacity to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has more internal storage capacity. Apple iPhone 8 Plus counts with a greater hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a lower amount of RAM and a lower number of cores , it also counts with a 64-bit processor.
The iPhone 8 Plus captures slightly better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it has a lower resolution camera, a smaller back-facing camera sensor and a lower (4K) video quality, they both have a same size diafragm aperture. Google Pixel 3a XL features a really longer battery duration than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 2691mAh.
Although Apple iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Apple iPhone 8 Plus, else you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, giving up a couple features and specifications.
