Comparison review
Google Pixel 3 XL is just a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL, with a global score of 80.7 against 78.9. The Google Pixel 3 XL body is just a bit heavier but a little bit thinner than Google Pixel 3a XL, and both were only released 7 months apart. Google Pixel 3 XL features a bit more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a quite larger display, a better pixels number in each inch in the display and a better 1440 x 2960 resolution.
The Google Pixel 3 XL has a bit better processor than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core CPU. Google Pixel 3 XL's camera is just as good as the camera in Google Pixel 3a XL, both have a 12.2 MP back facing camera, the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the same 30 fps video frame rate, a same size diafragm aperture and a 0.39 inches back-facing camera sensor.
Google Pixel 3a XL and Google Pixel 3 XL have incredibly similar storage for apps and games, they have equal 64 GB internal storage. The Google Pixel 3a XL features a little better battery life than Google Pixel 3 XL, because it has a 3700mAh battery size instead of 3430mAh.
Although Google Pixel 3 XL is a better device, it is more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you are trying to save some money, you can get the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
