Comparison review
Google Pixel 4 is a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL, with a score of 81.9 against 78.9. The Google Pixel 4 construction has the same thickness than Google Pixel 3a XL, but it's just a little bit lighter. Google Pixel 4 has a little sharper display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a quite better pixel count in each inch in the display and a little bit higher 1080 x 2280 resolution.
The Google Pixel 3a XL and the Google Pixel 4 both have incredibly similar memory capacity to store more games and applications, they have equal 64 GB internal storage. Google Pixel 4 features a little better performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Google Pixel 4 also has more RAM.
The Google Pixel 4's camera is very similar to Google Pixel 3a XL's camera, and although the Google Pixel 4 has a bigger aperture, they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, a same resolution back facing camera, the same video frame rate and the same video quality. Google Pixel 3a XL counts with greater battery life than Google Pixel 4, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 2800mAh.
Although Google Pixel 4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you prefer to save some money, you can get Google Pixel 3a XL, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
