Google Pixel 3a XL has an overall score of 78.9, which is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 50E's general score of 78.9. Even though the Google Pixel 3a XL is way older and a bit thicker than the Huawei Mate 50E, it's body is still somewhat lighter. The Google Pixel 3a XL counts with Android 11 OS, while Huawei Mate 50E comes with HarmonyOS 3 OS.
The Huawei Mate 50E features a bit superior processing unit than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Huawei Mate 50E also has a larger amount of RAM.
