Comparison review
The Google Pixel 3a XL is just a bit better than Huawei Mate 8, having a general score of 78.9 against 77.4. Even though Google Pixel 3a XL is a bit thicker than Huawei Mate 8, it's a little lighter and also a lot newer. Huawei Mate 8 has a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM and the same number of cores.
Google Pixel 3a XL has a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 8, and although they both have a screen with the same size, the Google Pixel 3a XL also has a slightly better 1080 x 2160 resolution and a just a bit better pixels count per screen inch. The Google Pixel 3a XL features just a bit better camera than Huawei Mate 8, because although it has a lot less mega-pixels back camera, it also counts with a way higher video definition and a larger aperture to take better photography and video in low-light environments.
Huawei Mate 8 has a much bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has more internal storage and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB. The Huawei Mate 8 has just a little better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has an 8% greater battery size.
Despite of being the best phone in our current comparison, the Google Pixel 3a XL is also very cheap compared to the other phones.
