Comparison review
The Huawei P20 Pro is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, with an 81.4 score against 78.9. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but the Huawei P20 Pro has the previous 10 version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version. Huawei P20 Pro is an older and just a little bit heavier phone than Google Pixel 3a XL, but Huawei was able to build it just a bit thinner anyway.
The Huawei P20 Pro has a bit more vivid screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a little higher 1080 x 2240 resolution, a little bigger display and a little greater quantity of pixels in each inch of screen. The Huawei P20 Pro counts with a way bigger memory capacity for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Huawei P20 Pro features just a bit better performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a higher amount of RAM memory. Huawei P20 Pro features just a bit better battery duration than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
The Huawei P20 Pro takes better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video quality, a F1.8 aperture and the same video frame rate, the Huawei P20 Pro also has a lot bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality and a back facing camera with lot more megapixels.
Although Huawei P20 Pro is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Huawei P20 Pro, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go some specifications.
