Comparison review
The Huawei P30 is slightly better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, having a overall score of 81.7 against 78.9. These devices include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P30 has older 10 version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version. Even when Huawei P30 and Google Pixel 3a XL were only released 1 months apart, Huawei P30 is a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner.
Huawei P30 has a little more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a little more pixels per inch of display, a quite bigger display and a slightly better 1080 x 2340 pixels resolution. The Huawei P30 features a little faster processing unit than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P30 also has a larger amount of RAM.
Huawei P30 has a very superior memory to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage. The Huawei P30 takes much better photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same camera aperture, the Huawei P30 also has a way bigger back camera sensor taking more light and vivid colors and a way more mega pixels camera.
Google Pixel 3a XL features just a bit longer battery performance than Huawei P30, because it has 3700mAh of battery capacity against 3650mAh.
Although Huawei P30 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3a XL, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your savings.
