Huawei P40 has a global score of 86.4, which is a little bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL's global score of 78.9. Huawei P40 is a newer phone than Google Pixel 3a XL, but it's just a little heavier and a little thicker. Both of these phones use Android OS (operating system), but Huawei P40 has the older 10 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version.
The Huawei P40 has a little faster CPU than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei P40 also has 2 GB more RAM. The Huawei P40 features a little bit better looking display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2340px, a bit larger display and a just a bit better display pixel density.

Huawei P40 costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3a XL, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
