Comparison review

LG V40 ThinQ has an overall score of 81.2, which is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's score of 78.9. Both phones in this comparison review come with Android operating system, but LG V40 ThinQ has older 10 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version. Even though the LG V40 ThinQ and the Google Pixel 3a XL were only released 7 months apart, LG V40 ThinQ's design is just a little heavier but also a bit thinner.

The LG V40 ThinQ has a little more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a greater pixel density, a quite larger screen and a better 1440 x 3120 resolution. The LG V40 ThinQ has a very superior memory capacity to install applications and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB.

The LG V40 ThinQ counts with a bit better performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the LG V40 ThinQ also has a higher amount of RAM memory. The Google Pixel 3a XL counts with a little longer battery duration than LG V40 ThinQ, because it has a 12% bigger battery size.

The LG V40 ThinQ captures a little bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a tinier sensor capturing less light and dull colors, a worse (4K) video quality and a lesser megapixels resolution camera in the back, it also counts with a bigger camera aperture to take better low light captures.

Although LG V40 ThinQ is a better device, it costs more than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
