Galaxy A30 has a global score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's score of 78.9. The Galaxy A30 is a just a little bit thinner and just a little bit lighter device than the Google Pixel 3a XL, even when both were only released 2 months apart. Samsung Galaxy A30 and Google Pixel 3a XL both feature really similar displays, although the Samsung Galaxy A30 also has a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels, a little greater pixel density and a quite larger display.

The Google Pixel 3a XL counts with a bit better performance than Galaxy A30. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM. The Google Pixel 3a XL shoots clearer videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy A30, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for low light photos and video and a back camera with much less mega-pixels, it also counts with a lot better 3840x2160 video quality and a bigger back camera sensor which gives a higher photo and video quality.

Galaxy A30 counts with a much greater memory for applications and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal storage, the Galaxy A30 also has a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A30 counts with just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has an 8% larger battery capacity.
