Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A50 is slightly better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, having an 83.8 score against 78.9. Although the Samsung Galaxy A50 and the Google Pixel 3a XL were only released with a couple months difference, the Samsung Galaxy A50 is just a little lighter and a bit thinner. Galaxy A50 features a little sharper display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a bit better pixel density, a little higher resolution of 1080 x 2340px and a bit bigger display.
The Galaxy A50 features a bit more powerful processing unit than Google Pixel 3a XL. They have 8 processing cores and the same RAM amount. The Samsung Galaxy A50 has a very superior storage for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity and an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB.
Galaxy A50 has a bit superior battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3700mAh. The Samsung Galaxy A50 takes slightly better photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a tinier back camera sensor, and they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Samsung Galaxy A50 also counts with a larger camera aperture to capture better low light photos and videos and a much more mega pixels camera.
The Galaxy A50 costs more money than the Google Pixel 3a XL, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
