Comparison review
The Galaxy A51 is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, getting an 85.5 score against 78.9. Although Galaxy A51 and Google Pixel 3a XL were released only a couple months apart, Galaxy A51's design is just a bit thinner but also just a bit heavier. Both phones we are comparing here work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system).
The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a bit better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The Galaxy A51 has a slightly better looking display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution, a just a bit more pixels per screen inch and a little bigger display.
The Galaxy A51 shoots better photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy A51 also counts with a lot bigger sensor which gives a lot higher photo and video quality and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The Samsung Galaxy A51 features a way bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has more internal storage capacity and a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 512 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A51 counts with a bit better battery life than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity.
Although Galaxy A51 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
