Comparison review

Galaxy Note 3 is just a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, getting a general score of 81.2 against 78.9. Both of these devices include Android OS, but the Galaxy Note 3 has the previous 5.0 version and Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11. Even being the best phone in our current comparison, the Galaxy Note 3 design is notably older, a little heavier and just a little thicker than the Google Pixel 3a XL.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a sharper display than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it has a little bit smaller screen, a little worse resolution of 1920 x 1080px and a quite lower number of pixels per inch of screen. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 counts with just a little better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has 4 lesser cpu cores and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processor.

Google Pixel 3a XL counts with a slightly better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because although it has a worse (4K) video resolution and a lesser mega-pixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a bigger back-facing camera sensor providing a higher image quality and a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos and videos.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a much better memory capacity for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB. Google Pixel 3a XL features just a little better battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, because it has a 16% greater battery size.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
