The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a lot better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, having a 98 score against 78.9. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G construction is newer than the Google Pixel 3a XL's, but it's a bit thicker and notably heavier. Both of these phones include Android OS, but the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has the newer 13 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version.
Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has a bit superior processor than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has 8 GB more RAM memory. The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G counts with a bit sharper screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a better amount of pixels per inch of screen, a bigger display and a better 1440 x 3200 resolution.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G features a lot bigger memory to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a slot for an external memory card that supports a maximum of 1000 GB and 64 GB more internal storage capacity. Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G has superior battery lifetime than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 35 percent larger battery capacity.
The Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G captures much better pictures and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same diafragm aperture, the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G also has a camera in the back with much more mega pixels, a way bigger sensor which offers a lot higher photo and video quality and a much better video definition.
Although Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy S20 Ultra 5G, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, resigning some specifications.
