The Samsung Galaxy S21 has a general score of 91.8, which is much better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 overall score. These phones come with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so they should count with all the same operating system features. Samsung Galaxy S21's construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but also just a little heavier than the Google Pixel 3a XL.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 features a sharper screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a little larger screen, a quite better pixel quantity in each display inch and a slightly better 1080 x 2400 resolution. The Samsung Galaxy S21 counts with a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy S21 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy S21 shoots much clearer photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a worse 12 mega-pixels resolution back camera, and they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy S21 also counts with a lot bigger back camera sensor providing a way better image quality and a way better 7680x4320 video definition.
The Galaxy S21 counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 64 GB more internal memory capacity. Galaxy S21 counts with a bit longer battery duration than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy S21 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy S21, otherwise you can save some money and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, giving up a couple features and specifications.
