The Samsung Galaxy S22 is better than Google Pixel 3a XL, with a 93.4 score against 78.9. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy S22 has a newer 13 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11, providing the user lots of additional features and performance enhancements. The Samsung Galaxy S22 construction weights the same than the Google Pixel 3a XL, but it's just a little thinner.
Galaxy S22 has a way better display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a bit more pixels per inch of screen, a little bigger display and a quite better resolution of 1080 x 2340px. Galaxy S22 counts with a little bit better performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Galaxy S22 also has a higher amount of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy S22 has much more memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity. Galaxy S22 counts with a battery lifetime that is very similar to the battery lifetime in Google Pixel 3a XL. The Samsung Galaxy S22 takes way better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same aperture, the Samsung Galaxy S22 also has a lot better video definition, a camera in the back with much more MP and a way bigger back camera sensor providing a lot better image quality.
Although Galaxy S22 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3a XL, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
