Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a general score of 91.1, which is better than Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 global score. Both of these devices work with Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has the newer 14 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11, so it counts with lots of additional features. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition's construction is heavier but way thinner than the Google Pixel 3a XL.
Google Pixel 3a XL has a much faster CPU than Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a much better looking display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a bit lower display pixel density, it also counts with a better 1968 x 2184 resolution and a way larger screen.
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition counts with a superior camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition also has a back-facing camera with lot more MP. Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition features a way bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has more internal memory.
Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition has a bit longer battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 4400mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Google Pixel 3a XL, resigning a couple specs and features.
