Comparison review
Xperia Z5 Premium is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, with a 79.8 score against 78.9. Both of these phones come with Android OS, but the Xperia Z5 Premium has the previous 5.1 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version. The Xperia Z5 Premium construction is a little bit thinner than Google Pixel 3a XL, although it's just a little bit heavier and was released 4 years before.
Xperia Z5 Premium features a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Xperia Z5 Premium also counts with an extra GPU. Xperia Z5 Premium counts with an incredibly better looking display than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a much better 3840 x 2160px resolution and a way greater screen pixels density.
Xperia Z5 Premium shoots a bit better photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same video frame rates, the same video quality and a F1.8 aperture, the Xperia Z5 Premium also has a bigger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much more mega pixels camera in the back.
The Xperia Z5 Premium features more storage for apps and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 200 GB. Google Pixel 3a XL features just a little better battery duration than Xperia Z5 Premium, because it has a 3700mAh battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 Premium is a better device, it is way more expensive than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Xperia Z5 Premium, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, giving up a couple features and specifications.
