The Xiaomi Mi 8 has a global score of 83.3, which is a little bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL's 78.9 score. Xiaomi Mi 8's construction is a little bit thinner than the Google Pixel 3a XL, but it is a bit heavier and was released only 11 months before. Both phones in this review have Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Mi 8 has 10 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features a little more vivid screen than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have a higher pixel count in each inch in the screen, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a slightly higher 1080 x 2248 pixels resolution and a bit bigger screen. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a lot bigger memory for apps and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has 192 GB more internal memory.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 features just a little better hardware performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a larger amount of RAM memory.
