Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a bit better than Google Pixel 3a XL, getting an 81.1 score against 78.9. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a newer phone than the Google Pixel 3a XL, although it is extremely heavier and just a little bit thicker. Both of these phones come with Android OS (Operating System), but Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has the older 10 version while Google Pixel 3a XL has Android 11 version.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro and Google Pixel 3a XL both feature very similar displays, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro has a bit worse screen density, it also counts with a little larger screen and a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2400px.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a way better camera than Google Pixel 3a XL, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not nice for shooting pictures and video in low light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also counts with a way higher resolution camera and a way larger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with a very superior storage to install games and applications than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro also has an external memory slot that holds up to 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro counts with better battery performance than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 5020mAh battery capacity against 3700mAh.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Google Pixel 3a XL. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a couple specs and features.
