Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a bit better than the Google Pixel 3a XL, getting a general score of 79 against 78.9. These devices work with the same Android 11 OS. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a newer phone than the Google Pixel 3a XL, although it's just a little thicker and a lot heavier. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S and Google Pixel 3a XL both feature very similar displays, because although the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S has a just a little inferior count of pixels per inch of display, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400px resolution.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a little faster CPU than Google Pixel 3a XL. Both have 8 cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S shoots better photographs and videos than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a F1.8 diafragm aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a camera with a much better 48 MP resolution and a much larger back camera sensor.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S counts with a lot bigger storage for apps and games than Google Pixel 3a XL, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S also has a slot for external memory cards that allows a maximum of 512 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S features improved battery duration than Google Pixel 3a XL, because it has a 5020mAh battery size.
Although Xiaomi Redmi Note 9S is a better device, it costs a lot more than Google Pixel 3a XL, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a XL. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Google Pixel 3a XL, letting go a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
