Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 20 is slightly better than Google Pixel 3a, having a 79.5 score against 78.8. Both phones in our current comparison come with Android operating system, but Huawei Mate 20 has a more recent 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11. Although the Huawei Mate 20 is a better device than the Google Pixel 3a, it must be told that it is also a notably heavier and just a little thicker device.
The Huawei Mate 20 counts with a little bit better processing power than Google Pixel 3a. They have the same number of cores and a 4 GB RAM memory. The Huawei Mate 20 has a little more vivid display than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2244 pixels.
The Huawei Mate 20 shoots slightly better videos and photos than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a lower video resolution and a back facing camera with a worse resolution, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, the Huawei Mate 20 also counts with a larger back camera sensor. Huawei Mate 20 features a much greater memory for games and applications than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 128 GB internal storage.
Huawei Mate 20 has better battery life than Google Pixel 3a, because it has a 33% greater battery size.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Google Pixel 3a. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Google Pixel 3a, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your savings.
