Comparison review
Huawei Mate X has a score of 89.4, which is better than Google Pixel 3a's 78.8 score. Both devices in this review come with Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate X has the newer 9.0 Pie version and Google Pixel 3a has Android 11 version, so it provides the user lots of additional features and increased performance. Even being the best we compare here, the Huawei Mate X construction is way thicker and notably heavier than the Google Pixel 3a.
The Huawei Mate X counts with a bit faster processing unit than Google Pixel 3a, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Huawei Mate X also has more RAM memory. Huawei Mate X features a little bit better screen than Google Pixel 3a, because although it has a little bit inferior pixel number per display inch, it also counts with a way higher resolution of 2200 x 2480 pixels and a really larger display.
Google Pixel 3a takes slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate X, although it has a way smaller camera sensor shooting much worse quality videos and photos and a lot less mega-pixels back facing camera, they both have a same size aperture. The Huawei Mate X features a very superior storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Google Pixel 3a, because it has more internal memory.
The Huawei Mate X features a superior battery life than Google Pixel 3a, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity against 3000mAh.
Although Huawei Mate X is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Google Pixel 3a, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Google Pixel 3a. If you prefer to save some money, you can buy the Google Pixel 3a, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most out of your savings.
